I AM SAD TO SAY, DUE TO LACK OF PRE-TREATMENT WITH FIBRINOGEN FROM THE NHS I STARTED BLEEDING AGAIN THURSDAY AND LOST THE BABY ON FRIDAY. ALL I CAN SAY IS I AM DEVASTATED!!
After a long journey I am finally expecting my miracle. I have a rare blood condition called afibrinogenemia and am 27 weeks pregnant with our first baby. Because of my blood condition the doctors did not think I would be able to become pregnant. All pregnancies in women with my condition end in miscarriage between 5 to 6 weeks without fibrinogen replacement. Since the doctors have to keep my fibrinogen level under control our little one will be delivered at 34 weeks by ceserian.
Michelle, I am so sorry for your loss! We will continue to pray for you and your family.
